Why should I choose Tetradock?

In a nutshell, you should choose Tetradock because our floats are stronger, better designed, longer lasting and less expensive than almost all other brands. We would say that though, wouldn’t we? Well, here are 10 reasons why  –

  1. Tetradock floats are undoubtedly the strongest and most durable floats available today. Importantly, the connecting lugs (which do all the hard work) are a much heavier duty design (thicker and stronger) than almost all other brands on the market and exceed most commercial and military standards.
  2. The central U floats used in our drive-on docks are a full 1 metre wide – giving more width stability, a sturdier platform for your boat and a smaller overall dock footprint.
  3. Also, the U floats are curved, not angular – so they cradle the hull evenly, keeping your boat more upright. This curved design self aligns the boat for easy drive-on-ability. 
  4. We don’t have problematic rollers all along the dock either. No moving parts means less to go wrong or to damage your boat. Rollers (and other central floats with a flat bottom) also don’t allow for self-alignment as you drive onto the dock.
  5. The U floats are completely smooth – so your hull doesn’t scrape along a tread pattern meant for grip and friction or get wedged at the side of an unforgiving roller.
  6. Where pontoon stiffness and stability are important, our unique TetraQuad float does the job at no extra cost.
